Vivo X Fold3: Detailed Specifications Revealed in Leaked Poster

The upcoming release of the Vivo X Fold3 and X Fold3 Pro has generated a lot of buzz with leaks and teasers sparking excitement, among smartphone fans. As the official reveal approaches this month a looking poster has emerged, detailing the specifications for these highly anticipated foldable devices.

Promising a combination of slimness and lightness the X Fold3 series aims to redefine form factor standards. According to the poster, both the Vivo X Fold3 and X Fold3 Pro will feature a profile when unfolded, surpassing the dimensions of the 2015 vivo X5 Max known as the world’s thinnest phone at just 5.1mm. Additionally, it is confirmed in the poster that both models will weigh less than a bar phone; however exact weight information has not been revealed yet. Notably both the X Fold3 and X Fold3 Pro will come with an IPX8 rating for water and dust resistance.

Setting itself apart as an innovator the Vivo X Fold3 Pro is poised to be the phone to launch with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset while expectations are for the X Fold3 to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. Both models will come with large 8.03-inch Samsung E7 AMOLED screens featuring 2K resolution and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits offering visuals. Users will enjoy the convenience of fingerprint scanners placed on both the internal screen and the 6.53-inch cover screen.

The camera setups on both models are impressive including a 50MP camera, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 64MP periscope module all supported by optical image stabilization (OIS) technology. These cameras will benefit from Vivo’s V3 imaging chip for enhancement. The X Fold3 series will run on OriginOS 4 based on Android 14 ensuring a good user experience. Additionally, users can expect battery life with a 5,500mAh battery and fast charging capabilities of up to 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

While pricing details remain speculative, rumors suggest that the X Fold3 may be priced starting from CNY 7,999 ($1,113), while the X Fold3 Pro could start at CNY 9,999 ($1,391). These price points position the X Fold3 series as a premium offering in the foldable smartphone market, promising an unparalleled combination of innovation and performance.
