New smartphone debuts are happening less frequently now. For now, only three brands had planned launch events that are intended to launch in China.
ZTE, Xiaomi, and Vivo will be the smatphone-making companies in-charge of these events. Each of the first two will present a lifestyle smartphone. In contrast, the latter will introduce a foldable phone.
On September 26, the Vivo X Fold Plus will officially go on sale in China. The announcement will be made at a conference that starts at 7 PM GMT+8.
The Vivo X Fold will be nearly identical to the company’s first foldable, according to teasers and leaks. The chipset between the two will be the only significant distinction. Instead of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU, the new model will be driven by a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm.
It is anticipated to include an 8.03-inch 120Hz main foldable display, a 6.53-inch 120Hz secondary cover display, 50MP (wide) + 48MP (ultra-wide) + 12MP (2x telephoto) + 8MP cameras powered by Zeiss, and more (5x periscope) 4,730mAh battery, 16MP selfie camera, quad-camera system, and 80W rapid wired charging.
