Rumors are swirling about the debut of the Vivo X Fold 3 in markets. Although Vivo has not officially confirmed a release date, a recent leak suggests that the device might be unveiled on March 26th. This leak also provides insights into the expected specifications of this phone.

Sources indicate that the Vivo X Fold 3 could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and equipped with a 5,500mAh battery supporting 120W wired charging. There are also speculations about it having an IPX8 rating for water resistance.

The leaked information, credited to tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) includes a poster indicating a launch event scheduled for March 26th at 7:00 pm time in China (4:30 pm IST).

According to the leaked details, the Vivo X Fold 3 is rumored to run on Android 14 and feature a cover display of 6.53 inches. The highlight is expected to be a Samsung E7 LTPO AMOLED display measuring around 8.03 inches with a high-resolution panel smooth refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and an exceptional peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

According to information, there was talk of using a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. New leaks suggest a possible switch to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Regarding the camera features rumors say that the Vivo X Fold 3 might come with three rear cameras; a main sensor of 50 megapixels, an ultrawide sensor also of 50 megapixels, and a telephoto periscope sensor of 64 megapixels that has optical image stabilization (OIS).

Furthermore, it is speculated to integrate advanced features such as an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, further enhancing user convenience and security. The predecessor, Vivo X Fold 2, made its debut in April of the previous year with a starting price of CNY 8,999 (approximately ₹1,07,500), exclusively available in the Chinese market and powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.
