Vivo X Fold 3 and Fold 3 Pro: RAM, Storage Configurations, and Prices Leak Ahead of March 26 Launch

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is scheduled for release in China on March 26 alongside the standard Vivo X Fold 3 with official teasers revealing the handsets’ designs. Claimed to be the “thinnest and lightest” flagship foldable devices to date, these phones have garnered anticipation. Before the launch event, a Vivo representative hinted at some aspects of the lineup.

A source named Anvin (@ZionsAnvin) shared details, about the RAM and storage options for the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro, along with their prices in a post on X (previously known as Twitter). The leak suggests that the phone is likely to be priced at CNY 13,999 for the 16GB + 512GB model and CNY 14,999 for the 16GB + 1TB variant in China. Recent rumors also indicate that the standard Vivo X Fold 3 could be priced at CNY 7,999.

Vivo had previously teased that the Vivo X Fold 3 series would come in white color choices. A ranking official confirmed that these phones will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Moreover, it has been verified that the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will feature a display measuring at 8.03 inches from Samsung E7.

The Vivo X Fold 3 lineup is anticipated to feature an “Armor Feather” design approach presenting smartphones in a book-style design with SGS five-star anti-drop certification and an IPX8 rating for splash resistance. They are also expected to offer improved battery life compared to models and incorporate Vivo’s “Blue Heart” AI system.

According to reports, it is said that the Vivo X Fold 3 and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will come pre-installed with Android 14-based OriginOS 4. Moreover, there are whispers, about the phones having camera setups equipped with optical image stabilization. This setup is said to include a sensor of 50 megapixels, another sensor of 50 megapixels with a lens and a periscope shooter of 64 megapixels.

The upcoming Vivo X Fold 3 series is reported to feature 5,500mAh batteries with support for 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. These handsets are anticipated to be lighter than the iPhone 15 Pro lineup.
