The Vivo V50 is speculated to launch in February 2025, although so far, the company has not confirmed the release date. It seems the price and specifications of the upcoming Vivo phone have been leaked in India. The Vivo V40 made its debut five months ago, and it appears that the company is already working on the sequel with minor upgrades. This leak also hints at the Vivo V50 being priced higher than its predecessor, thereby indicating a slight uptick in the price for the newer V series entrant as compared to the previous generation.

Vivo V50 Expected to Launch in February 2025 with Price Hike and Upgrades

The Vivo V50 will start from ₹37,999 according to tipster Abhishek Yadav on X. He says he does not know how accurate this leak is, but he believes it will be below ₹40,000. That said, none of this has been officially confirmed, so take all these details with a grain of salt.

Specifications-wise, the Vivo V50 is expected to come with the same specifications as the Vivo V40. The company is expected to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor on the upcoming device and it will again stick with a dual rear camera setup with two 50-megapixel sensors. A 50-megapixel camera is also expected for selfies. These specs are anticipated to remain the same as the V40. Design-wise, the Vivo V50 series should stick to the same design language as the V40 series.

However, the new version is expected to come with a larger battery, possibly a 6,000mAh unit compared to the 5,500mAh battery on the V40. The Vivo V50 is also likely to support faster 90W charging, up from the 80W on the previous model. Additionally, it could feature both IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering enhanced protection against water submersion, which is typically seen in ultra-premium smartphones.
