The Vivo V30 was recently introduced in global markets, with the Pro version set to debut on February 28th. These smartphones will succeed in last year’s Vivo V29 lineup. The upcoming launch of the Vivo V30 series, in India has been officially confirmed, as seen on the Vivo website and Flipkart. These listings do not showcase the phone design. It also reveals important hardware features, including the use of Zeiss optics.

The Upcoming Vivo V30 Series

Anticipated to debut in March 2024 the Vivo V30 series listings highlight the incorporation of Zeiss optics and Aura light for the V30 Pro model. This collaboration with Zeiss is a first for Vivo’s V series phones. Additionally, Vivo touts the V30 Pro as the phone of 2024. The Zeiss optics on the V30 Pro offer styles like biotar, sonar, cinematic, cine flare portrait, planar, and octagon effects. The listings also confirm that the V30 Pro will boast a 120Hz 3D display and will be available in Andaman Blue, Peacock Green, and Classic Black color options.

Vivo V30 and V30 Pro models are in the lineup. It comes with a 6.78 inch AMOLED screen featuring a peak brightness of 2,800 nits and a resolution of 2800×1260p along, with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The Vivo V30 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC paired with an Adreno 720 GPU while its counterpart the V30 Pro includes a MediaTek Dimensity SoC instead.

Both models come with a maximum of 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, for memory and storage. They operate on FuntouchOS 14 which is based on Android 14. The camera configurations vary slightly between the two models.

The Vivo V30 features a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an LED flash, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP bokeh sensor. For selfies, it includes a 50MP front shooter. Meanwhile, the Vivo V30 Pro features a 50MP Sony IMX920 primary camera, a 50MP Sony IMX816 portrait camera, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, all supported by ZEISS technology. There’s likely to be a 50MP sensor on the front for selfies as well. Both phones pack a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
