Vivo has finally introduced its V23 Series in India, the primary focus has been the overall design of the device, its aesthetic appeal, amazing cameras, and of course, top-notch performance.
The Vivo V23 and V23 Pro come with a color-changing Fluriote AG glass at the back, however, this is limited to only the gold color variant, which transitions to sea-green shade when it is exposed to sunlight for up to 5-6 minutes. The Vivo V23 Series is the first lineup in India to have such a feature.

Vivo V23
The Vivo V23 runs on Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12, it features an ultra-slim design and lacks a headphone jack as well as a microSD card slot. However, no need to be alarmed as Vivo is also providing earphones in the box that comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack adapter.
The Vivo V23 is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 920 chipset and has been paired with 8GB/12GB LPDDR5 RAM variants and 128GB/256GB storage configurations. It also has the virtual RAM feature which bumps the RAM of the device up by an additional 4GB.
The Vivo V23 has a 6.44″ Full HD+ AMOLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The Vivo V23 is powered by a 4,200mAh battery that comes with support for 44W fast charging.
The rear camera of the Vivo V23 is a triple camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP macro lens.
The selfie camera is a dual-camera setup with a 50MP+8MP setup. Vivo has left no stone unturned as it has provided a host of modes, such as Night Mode, Portrait Mode, Pro Mode, and so on to deliver an unparalleled camera experience.
The connectivity options that the Vivo V23 carries are 2.4GHz, 5GH, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, BEIDOU, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS, and India’s NavIC. It lacks NFC support. The Vivo V23 comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Coming to the pricing, the Vivo V23 is priced at 29,990 INR for the 8GB RAM option while the 12GB RAM option costs 34,990 INR.
The Vivo V23 is available in Stardust Black and Special Sunshine Gold, or the color-changing variant.
Vivo V23 Pro
The Vivo V23 Pro has a bigger display, a 6.56″ Full HD+ AMOLED display with a higher refresh rate of 90Hz.
The V23 Pro runs on Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 as well, the device comes powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset and it comes in an 8GB RAM as well as a 12GB RAM variant.
The Vivo V23 Pro also lacks a headphone jack and microSD card slot but will also have the earphones in the box along with the earphone jack adapter.
The Virtual RAM feature is also seen in the V23 Pro as it comes with up to 4GB virtual RAM.
Coming to the camera specs, the V23 Pro has a triple camera setup on the rear with a 108MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor.
The selfie camera is the same as the Vivo V23, a dual-camera setup with 50MP+8MP sensors.
The V23 Pro has the same connectivity options as the V23 base variant, it comes with an equal amount of features in terms of photography as well.
The Vivo V23 Pro packs a 4,300mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Coming to the pricing, the Vivo V23 Pro is priced at 38,990 INR for the 8GB RAM variant while the 12GB RAM variant is priced at 43,990 INR.
The Vivo V23 Series has been opened for pre-booking and it officially goes on sale from the 13th of January onwards.
