Vivo V20 Pro 5G Launched in India at INR 29,990

After Vivo V20 and Vivo V20 SE, Vivo is set to launch its third smartphone, Vivo V20 Pro, under its Vivo V20 smartphone series.

The new smartphone will have a dual selfie camera with a 44 MP primary sensor and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. One can capture a photo from as close as 2.5cm from the object. Motion Autofocus, Slo-Mo Selfie Video, Super Night Mode, Double Exposure, and Dual View Video are some of the other features of Vivo V20 Pro. The rear panel of the smartphone, which is made of AG Matte Glass, houses a triple camera setup comprising a 64MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP depth sensor units. The 8MP module also doubles up as a macro camera to let you capture photos from as close as 2.5cm from the object.

It will be available with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage configuration. Consisting of a 4,000 mAh battery, it will also come up with 33W fast charging and 5G connectivity. You can find the company’s tweet below.

The same handset was launched in Thailand in September this year. It has a 6.44-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. The screen also has an embedded fingerprint reader. This will be used for biometric authentication.

Currently, it is priced at Rs 29,990 or $410. You can purchase the Vivo V20 Pro 5G from Vivo’s online store, Flipkart, Amazon, Reliance Digital, Poorvika Mobile, or any other online and offline retailers. It has already been listed for registrations on Flipkart.

It has a Snapdragon 765G SoC. Yesterday, we informed you about the launch of Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. Read about it here. Initially, it will be offered in Midnight Jazz and Sunset Melody colours. The rear panel of V20 Pro 5G will be made of AG Matte Glass. Other than 5G, other connectivity options for the smartphone are 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC.

Vivo, the Chinese manufacturing company, is launching this handset at a time when the government of India is trying to back the domestic manufacturers. With the aid of the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, Micromax is trying to make a comeback in the mobile manufacturing business. This means more competition for a company like Vivo. India, the second-largest smartphone market in the world, is surely in an exciting time in its smartphone history.
