Vivo T4 5G to Launch as Thinnest Phone with 7,300mAh Battery

Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo T4 5G in India on April 22 as the successor to last year’s Vivo T3. Unlike the Vivo T3, which has a 5,000mAh pack, the Vivo T4 5G will feature a 7,300mAh battery, similar to the iQOO Z10 released recently. Despite the battery upgrade, it manages to be slim at 7.89mm and light with a weight of 191g, at least in the Emerald Glaze color variant.

The handset will leverage BlueVolt battery anode materials and the company’s third-generation silicon technology, which it says adds a whopping 15.7 percent more energy density over its previous iteration. The Direct Drive Power Supply system is built to maximize energy delivered while minimizing heat loss, contributing to power efficiency. This includes trickle charging support. Vivo has also incorporated techniques such as Carbon Nanotube conduction, Electrode Reshaping, and a Nano Cage Structure to reduce battery ageing too.

It features a large battery with 90W FlashCharge support, up from the 44W on the T3. Also, the phone will support reverse charging in addition to bypass charging, so you can game and charge without issues. Specification leaks suggest that the Vivo T4 5G could be a rebranded version of the Vivo Y300 Pro+ that launched in China last month. It is expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 5,000 nits peak brightness, and curved edges.

It will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. Camera specs may include a 50MP Sony IMX882 main sensor with OIS, a 2MP secondary lens, and a 32MP front-facing camera. Storage options are likely to include 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB variants. The Vivo T4 5G is expected to be priced between ₹20,000 and ₹25,000 in India. For context, the Vivo T3 launched at ₹19,999 for its base model.
