Sporting CP’s slightly higher standing and squad depth make them favourites for this one, but Vitória SC’s competitive record against them in recent seasons means an upset can’t be ruled out. Prediction: Sporting CP 2-1 Vitória SC.
Head-to-Head Record
This is a fixture with real history behind it —last season, Sporting CP and Vitória SC played two games against each other, both closely contested. Sporting’s marginally better current form gives them the edge, but Vitória have proven tough opponents in this matchup before.
