Marvel just rearranged the calendar, and Vision fans are the winners. VisionQuest will now open with a double-episode premiere, and its finale lands a full week earlier than first expected.

Why the Double Premiere Matters?

Marvel has used two-episode openers before, including for WandaVision, Hawkeye, Agatha All Along and Daredevil: Born Again Season 1. This one is the longest yet in the WandaVision trilogy at 97 minutes, beating WandaVision’s 71 and Agatha’s 87. The extra time helps because the show is opening Vision’s Mind Space for the first time and resuming his story after five years. One episode can introduce the world, and the second can push the mystery forward.

The finale now lands just over three weeks before Avengers: Doomsday, so the last episodes shouldn’t be overshadowed by the hype for the big film. The story reportedly isn’t directly connected, though the WandaVision trilogy is said to matter for Avengers 5. How VisionQuest sets it up remains unclear.

What We Already Know?

The series begins with Vision working in a Scottish pub. At night he powers down and enters his Mind Space, where familiar MCU AIs with distinct personalities help him process the day’s data as he tries to understand humanity. Lucky viewers in London can see the first two episodes two days early.
