In the 88th minute, Pervis Estupinan’s poor header back to Rulli was pounced on by Memphis Depay. The Netherlands international gave Barcelona the lead late in the game. And shortly after, Philippe Coutinho earned and converted a penalty to make it 3 goals away from home for Barcelona.

Villarreal are now in 12th place in the table, while Barcelona are climbing up the ranks. They are now in 7th place and will be happy with the way the game played out in the end.
