The poster displays Vijay in an intense guise. He can be seen with bloodstained clothes, seated inside a police station, with a sickle in his hand. His left ear seems to be amputated.

The actor showed gratitude for appreciation as well as criticism, and described achieving the 50-film milestone as unexpected but important that brought hope and useful experiences like endurance and wisdom. He thanked all of the directors and fellow artists who supported him along the way. He also spoke about his first meeting with the film’s director, Seenu Ramasamy.

After finishing the dubbing for ‘Naan Mahaan Alla,’ he and Aruldas Annan exchanged phone numbers. One day, he received two missed calls and learned that their friend Seenu Ramasamy was directing a film. Seenu Ramasamy insisted that he join the project, regardless of the role. At that time, their relationship wasn’t very close, but he met with Seenu Ramasamy, and now he finds himself in his current position. He expressed deep gratitude to Aruldas and Seenu, sir, for this opportunity.

Regarding “Maharaja,” Vijay Sethupathi praised the performances of Natti Sir, Aruldas Anne, Singambuli Anne, Abhirami, and Mamata, describing them as impressive. He also spoke highly of Abhirami Medathoda, whom he had respected since “Virumandi.” He emphasized that “Maharaja” is a movie with an appealing plot that is set for box office success. Nithilan, the film’s writer, saw it as a project that could double or triple the revenue.

Vijay also mentioned Anurag Kashyap’s involvement in the film, emphasizing that Anurag is not just a skilled director but also an excellent performer. In his most recent appearance, Vijay portrayed the antagonist in Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan,” a film that has grossed over ₹280 crore in just four days at the box office since its release.
