ViewSonic, a US-based brand, has launched a new gaming monitor, dubbed the ViewSonic Elite XG341C-2K, in the global market. The brand had also recently introduced a VX2405 24-Inch Gaming Monitor in India. The latest offering from ViewSonic comes with a 32-inch display that features AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and up to 200Hz refresh rate. Let us have a look at the features and specifications of the newly launched ViewSonic gaming monitor.
ViewSonic Elite XG341C-2K
ViewSonic has introduced the Elite XG341C-2K, a gaming monitor that relies on a 34-inch VA panel with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a 1500R curvature. As such, the ultra-wide monitor has a stretched native resolution compared to its flat counterparts. Specifically, the Elite XG341C-2K operates at 3,440 x 1,440 pixels, which it complements with a 200 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms response times (MPRT).
In addition, the Elite XG341C-2K also covers 97% of the DCI-P3 colour space and 99% of the NTSC colour space coverage. The monitor features Mini LED backlights with 1,152 local dimming zones. Additionally, it comes with a VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification that ensures 1,400 nits of peak brightness while viewing HDR content, or 720 nits of brightness for SDR content.
For gamers, the Elite XG341C-2K has several aces up its sleeve. PureXP Blur Reduction is supposed to ensure a sharp picture even in fast and action-packed scenes. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, on the other hand, synchronizes the image and prevents ghosting and streaking. The monitor can also be adjusted by 120 mm in height, rotated by 50 degrees and tilted between -5 degrees and 23 degrees to the front or back.
Separately, the Elite XG341C-2K has two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort and a USB Type-C port. Moreover, ViewSonic has equipped the monitor with a USB Type-A hub that supports the USB 3.2 standard. For reference, the Elite XG341C-2K has stereo 5 W speakers and an adjustable stand.
The new ViewSonic Elite XG341C-2K gaming monitor is priced at €2,309 (including VAT), which roughly translates to ₹1,87,400. It is currently available for Eurozone customers via the company’s official website.
