Protecting Privacy While Embracing Parenthood
Since welcoming baby Vaayuv on September 10, 2025, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi have been occupied with parental duties caring for their newborn son, deliberately keeping the family away from the public eye. This rare Dehradun appearance signals the couple’s readiness to gradually introduce their son to their extended family circle while maintaining carefully guarded privacy around the child’s identity.
Lavanya Tripathi, who grew up in Dehradun before moving to Mumbai for her entertainment career, likely chose her hometown for this intimate family outing, making it especially meaningful. The wedding provided the perfect occasion to spend quality time with extended family in a setting close to her heart.
Varun Tej’s Beautiful Family Bond: From Mister to Mummy and Daddy
The couple first met on the film sets of “Mister” (2017) and later starred together in “Antariksham 9000 KMPH” in 2018, eventually developing a deep personal connection that blossomed into marriage. Varun and Lavanya tied the knot in a dreamy wedding in 2023 after years of quietly dating, and their bond has only grown stronger since, with fans admiring how they balance love, family, and career.
The name “Vaayuv” carries profound meaning, embodying unstoppable force, devotion, courage, and spiritual radiance inspired by Lord Hanuman, reflecting the couple’s spiritual connection and values.
Konidela Family Legacy Continues
Varun Tej belongs to the prestigious Konidela-Allu film family, being the nephew of megastars Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, with cousins including Ram Charan and Allu Arjun. The announcement of baby Vaayuv’s arrival was met with widespread congratulations from the entire Tollywood fraternity, including blessings from Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Pawan Kalyan, and numerous others, highlighting the immense love for the new family.
Professionally, Varun Tej is set to appear in an Indo-Korean horror comedy tentatively titled VT15, while Lavanya recently appeared in the Tamil film “Thanal”, showing both are balancing parenthood with their careers seamlessly.
