The forthcoming Vivo V29e is on the verge of entering the market soon. Although the exact launch date hasn’t been officially confirmed by the Chinese manufacturer, a leak indicates that this smartphone will make its debut in India by the end of this month.
The smartphone is anticipated to be positioned as a high-end smartphone, potentially featuring a glass construction along with a rear panel that can change colors. The device is expected to be fueled by a chipset from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 series. Furthermore, leaked images of the device reveal both its front and rear designs, showcasing a dual rear camera arrangement.
The All New Vivo V29e
According to a report, the Vivo V29e is expected to be introduced in India around the end of August. It might serve as the most premium ‘e’ variant within the Vivo V series. The device is likely to share similarities with its close relatives, the Vivo V29 and Vivo V29 Lite.
Reportedly, the Vivo V29e will boast a glass finish and incorporate a glass panel capable of changing colors. The operating system is anticipated to be Android 13-based FunTouchOS 13, and the device could feature a curved 3D display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
Two memory and storage configurations are expected: 8GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage. Expected to provide the performance for the Vivo V29e is a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with the internal name ‘Holi,’ potentially being either the Snapdragon 480 5G or the Snapdragon 480+ 5G System-on-Chip (SoC).
Leaked images of the Vivo V29e, released by a source in partnership with 91Mobiles Hindi, display the device available in black and blue color options. The images illustrate a hole punch display design. Leaked renders also suggest that the Vivo V29e will sport a dual rear camera setup with optical image stabilization (OIS) support.
The power button and volume controls are positioned along the left edge of the Vivo V29e. Previous reports had suggested that the device might be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7000 Series SoC. The device is also rumored to house a 4,600mAh battery that supports 80W charging.
