Upcoming RedmiBook laptops with Ryzen 4000 mobile APUs to feature 3 performance modes

It’s evident that Xiaomi will be launching a new range of RedmiBook laptops featuring the latest AMD Ryzen 4000 mobile APUs and official posters have confirmed it as well. Some official posters on Weibo have also confirmed an interesting fact that these laptops will have 3 CPU modes.

All of the RedmiBook 13, RedmiBook 14S, and RedmiBook 16 laptops will be featuring either Ryzen 5 4500U or Ryzen 7 4700U most probably or we may see other APUs as well. This will be paired with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of SSD, making it even more powerful and lucrative for buyers.

The general manager of the Xiaomi, Lu Weibing has been giving some sneak peeks of their upcoming products on Weibo and gave some essential info about these new RedmiBook laptops as well. In one of his poster, it is confirmed that the laptops will be powered by AMD Ryzen 4000 APUs.

Obviously these laptops will be powerful and so Xiaomi will be equipping the laptops with 3 performance modes which can be switched via shortcut Fn + K keys. The translated poster depicts three modes which are ‘Full Speed’, ‘Balanced’, and ‘Quiet’ modes.

These modes will be targeted for gaming, office work, and normal tasks respectively. The Full Speed mode is touted to increase the performance by up to 34.5%, helping to take full advantage of the Ryzen 4000 APU.

Another teaser shared today also reveals the upcoming RedmiBook laptops will feature next-generation heat dissipation (cooling) system with large-sized fan and coarse heat pipe for better cooling.
