Real-world photographs of the Google Pixel 8 Pro have surfaced online. According to Droid Life, these photographs were published on Reddit by a user. Both the front and back of the future Google Pixel 8 Pro are depicted in the pictures.
The front image displays the fastboot screen, which lists the codename ‘husky’ as well as 12GB of Samsung LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of storage. The bootloader also mentions ‘ripcurrent’ on the display.
On the other hand, there are numerous stickers indicating that this is a test device “FOR TEST/EVALUATION ONLY” and that the FCC has not authorised it to be sold or leased. According to the image, the handset is for “internal testing and development only.”
The Google Tensor G2 was codenamed ‘cloudripper’ and GS201. The future Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro are said to be powered by a Tensor G3 inside, which is dubbed ‘zuma,’ according to the rumour, and is indicated on the rear of this test device.
A horizontally oriented triple camera system is also visible on the back of the test gadget. The Pixel 8 Pro is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera, a 64MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5x telephoto lens.
According to Android Authority, the Pixel 8 series may include a Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor, an enhancement from the ISOCELL GN1. When compared to its predecessor, the GN2 is larger and can capture 35% more light. The sensor can also take video at 8K/30fps.
Furthermore, Google 8 Pro may have a better time-of-flight (ToF). According to Android Authority, the gadget sports a new 8 ToF VL53L8 sensor, which should make autofocus considerably more dependable.
The photograph also reveals the Pixel 8 Pro’s temperature sensor. According to 91 Mobiles, the dedicated thermometer sensor will be capable of measuring the temperature of both individuals and things. The upgraded sensor is expected to be exclusive to the Pixel 8 Pro and may not be accessible on the less expensive Pixel 8 model.
