According to the leak, the handset is expected to be launched by early 2024. It is rumored to be introduced as a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3, similar to how the OnePlus 11R 5G first appeared in China as the OnePlus Ace 2.
According to the leaked information, the OnePlus 12R is going to run on OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 and feature a 6.7-inch 1.5K 120Hz BOE X1 OLED Display with a 3000 nits of peak brightness and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is going to feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The device is expected to feature a triple-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera. Additionally, for selfies and video calls, there might be a 16-megapixel front camera.
The device is expected to come with features like an alert slider and stereo speakers. It will be equipped with a massive 5,500mAh battery and will support 100W fast charging, which aligns with information from previous leaks.
