Unveiling the All-New Tecno Camon 20 Series: All You Need to Know

Tecno has recently introduced its Camon 20 series smartphones in the Indian market as the successors of the Camon 19 series. The lineup consists of three variants: the standard, pro, and premier models. While these devices share many similarities, there are a few differences that set them apart. Let’s explore the specifications and features of the Tecno Camon 20, Camon 20 Pro, and Camon 20 Premier 5G.

All three smartphones in the Camon 20 series feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a center-aligned punch-hole design that incorporates an integrated fingerprint scanner. The display offers an FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The back panels of these devices showcase a geometric pattern on a leather surface, housing a pentagonal-shaped camera module.

In terms of photography capabilities, the Tecno Camon 20 and Camon 20 Pro 5G come with triple rear camera setups. These setups include a 64MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and RGBW technology, accompanied by a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP bokeh lens. On the other hand, the Tecno Camon 20 Premier 5G boasts a camera setup comprising a 50MP RGBW sensor with sensor-shift OIS, a 108MP ultra-wide and macro unit, and a 2MP bokeh lens. For selfies, all three models feature a 32MP front-facing camera.

Under the hood, the Tecno Camon 20 is equipped with a Helio G85 processor, while the Camon 20 Pro 5G and Camon 20 Premier 5G are powered by a Dimensity 8050 chipset. All three devices come with 8GB of RAM and support 8GB of virtual memory. The standard and pro variants offer 256GB of onboard storage, while the premier model provides 512GB of native storage. Additionally, the Camon 20 series incorporates a heat dissipation system for efficient cooling.

In terms of battery capacity, the Tecno Camon 20 series is backed by a 5,000mAh battery. The standard and pro models support 33W fast charging, whereas the premier variant offers a higher 45W charging speed. These smartphones run on Android 13 with HiOS 13 out of the box.

As for pricing and availability, the Tecno Camon 20 is priced at ₹14,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and is available in Predawn Black, Serenity Blue, and Glacier Glow colors starting from May 29th. The Camon 20 Pro 5G is priced at ₹19,999 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration and ₹21,999 for the 8GB + 256GB configuration. Beginning in the second week of June, it will be sold in Serenity Blue and Dark Welkin colors. The Camon 20 Premier 5G will go on sale in the third week of June, and further information about its price will be provided as the launch gets closer.
