At the time of the opening moments, we have discovered that Jackson has a very complicated relationship with his father that has just got only worse after the death of his mother. After Convincing a friend to return and check on his dad, who has been diving further into his self-obsessed mania. However, Jackson visited his father.
Afraid he has got sucked into his orbit, Jackson has tried to find a way for shifting into Ellis’ mindset and follows just beyond himself for inspiration. Due to this, the old habits die hard and even Ellis can put himself in his son’s shoes. He has still managed to make it all about him.
