The advent of 2020 has brought along advancements in the field of cloud computing. The gaming industry has seen a sudden surge in popularity, with many new users embracing the high-performance tech being offered by the game developers.

We already know about the next-gen consoles launched by Microsoft and Sony. But they are not the only ones creating ripples in the tech industry. Cloud streaming service for games is picking up the heat with Google, Microsoft, and even Amazon launching their cloud gaming service offering various subscriptions for its users.

Game developers are offering their exclusive titles for these services. As such, the demand for cloud gaming is only rising high. The latest news is that Ubisoft, known for its works like Assasins Creed and Prince of Persia, is launching its subscription service for both Google’s Stadia and Amazon’s Luna. The UPlay Plus Subscription service, now dubbed as Ubisoft Plus, will start at $14.99 per month starting from November 10th for both Stadia and Luna.

Subscribers will access over 100 Ubisoft titles, including new releases like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, and Immortals Fenix Rising.

Alexia Brumé, associate director at Ubisoft, stated, “With Ubisoft Plus, our vision is to provide more options for our players to access their favorite Ubisoft games, wherever they are and whenever they want. Ubisoft Plus is only available on PC — we want to be able to cut this hardware limitation.”

She further added that “it’s the opportunity to expand to new people — we’re going to have people that maybe cannot afford a proper rig, and that will be able also to enjoy our games [through cloud services].”

Ubisoft Plus will be launched in beta on November 10th for all current UPlay Plus subscribers. More details on Stadia and Luna will be announced later when the launch date closes.
