On 18 January 2023, Twitter revealed a brand-new yearly plan for its Twitter Blue membership service. Users can save money with the new plan, which costs $84 for a full year, compared to the regular membership rates of $8 for the web and $11 for iOS or Android devices.

Twitter has unveiled a new Twitter Blue yearly plan!

All you need to know about Twitter’s Plan!

In addition to Australia, Japan, the US, New Zealand, Canada, and the UK, the new Twitter Blue yearly subscription plan is also accessible in these other nations. Only the internet hosts the annual plan. No matter where users sign up for Twitter Blue, the membership perks are accessible on all three platforms, Android, the web, and iOS.

Twitter Blue is a paid subscription service that grants users early access to a few services, notably Edit Tweet, and adds a blue checkmark to their accounts. All Twitter Blue features, with the exception of the blue checkmark, will be instantly available to subscribers, according to Twitter. Once the platform has reviewed the account, the blue checkmark becomes active.

After Elon Musk purchased the social network for $44 billion in 2022, the microblogging platform underwent significant modifications. The most notable of these updates is Twitter Blue, a subscription service that offers blue checkmarks in addition to premium features.

In the past, the social network utilized the blue tick to denote accounts that were noteworthy, active, and genuine and that it had independently confirmed had met certain criteria. The company clarifies that the blue checkmark might now indicate one of two things: either that an account was confirmed in accordance with the prior verification requirements or that the user is a current Twitter Blue subscriber.

This information is made available by clicking on a profile’s verification icon. To set them apart from those who were copying brands, the company updated the verification marks for businesses to a gold color and made their profile images square. To prevent copying, government personnel were also given grey checkmarks.
