LEGO and Marvel have been building together since 2002, when a set tied in with Sam Raimi’s first Spider-Man film. In 2026 the partnership delivered more than 20 sets, riding on Spider-Man: Brand New Day and the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday.
Some are shelf-worthy masterpieces. Others are painfully overpriced. Here’s the full ranking, judged on quality, value and ambition, so you can spend smartly.

The Top Five, Elaborated
1. SHIELD Helicarrier, the grand prize. At 3,057 pieces and nearly 27 inches long, it’s the first big Helicarrier since 2015. You get a display stand, a removable runway revealing interior rooms, a midair Quinjet, and six minifigures including an exclusive Winter Soldier, Nick Fury, Maria Hill and Phil Coulson. The catch? $399.99, plenty of repetitive gray sections, and a lot of shelf space.
2. Iron Man Mark 3. Born as a LEGO designer’s passion project, this 15-inch beauty uses printed pieces instead of stickers and has a detachable arc reactor. The only downside is fixed knees that limit posing.
3. Epic Battle: Avengers: Doomsday. A fully articulated Sentinel takes center stage, with Magneto, Nightcrawler, Mystique, Doctor Doom, Mister Fantastic and Thor. It’s a hype-builder for the film, though Mystique’s hair color doesn’t match the movie.
4. New Avengers Tower. Four floors, six minifigures (exclusive Yelena, Red Guardian, Human Torch and Sentry) and a hidden detention facility. It connects to five other Marvel modulars, which makes it a smart anchor for a growing city.
5. The Daily Bugle. Seven minifigures, a working billboard lever and a poseable Rhino mech. There’s even a Venomized Captain America for collectors. See the history of the brand on Wikipedia.
Best Budget Picks
Not ready for a $400 commitment? These smaller sets shine:
- Ghost Rider ($9.99): A new minifigure with a detachable flame head. The easiest recommendation on the list.
- Miles Morales Mech ($14.99): Includes an updated Spider-Man 2099 minifigure.
- Sandman vs. Spider-Man ($24.99): Nostalgia plus a Venom with four moving tentacles.

What to Skip?
The Hulk vs. Spider-Man set had huge potential, but a drab building and a $89.99 price for 534 pieces sink it. The Spider-Man Hero Figure is gorgeous, yet buyers report parts popping off during posing at $99.99. Wait for sales on both.
