Rocking star Yash is gearing up to take on the lead role in his upcoming film Toxic, directed by acclaimed Malayalam filmmaker Geetu Mohandas. This highly anticipated action film will also feature Nayanthara and Kiara Advani in prominent roles alongside the KGF actor.
According to sources, Nayanthara is set to portray Yash’s sister, while Kiara Advani will take on the role of his love interest. Additionally, Huma Qureshi is expected to play the main antagonist in the film, with Tara Sutaria and Shruti Haasan also joining the ensemble cast.

Yash is making his long-awaited return to the big screen following the massive success of KGF: Chapter 2 with a new film centered around a cartel operating in Goa. The film was officially announced earlier this year on Yash’s birthday.
Initially, reports suggested that Toxic Cast Kareena Kapoor Khan was set to play a major role in Yash’s movie, likely as his older sister. However, more recent reports reveal that the Jab We Met actress has exited the project, with Nayanthara stepping in to take her place.
In addition, Kiara Advani is set to star alongside Yash, with Tara Sutaria and Shruti Haasan also joining the toxic cast in undisclosed roles. Interestingly, Haasan also performed the theme song for the film’s announcement video.

According to a media portal, Tara Sutaria celebrated for her performances in Heropanti 2 and Tadap, will have a major role in this highly anticipated action thriller directed by Geetu Mohandas. A source revealed, “Tara is excited to be part of such a big project. She will portray one of the two love interests of the Kannada superstar, alongside Kiara Advani.”
Yash’s new look for upcoming movie Toxic
Yash recently made headlines with viral photos showcasing his new look for the upcoming movie. His short-cropped hairstyle has already garnered a lot of attention, with stylist Alex Vijaykanth confirming that this transformation is for Toxic.
The stylist shared it on his official Instagram account, describing it as a “custom pompadour” created for the Rocking star. He also mentioned how he transformed Yash’s iconic long hair into a shorter, edgier, and more intense style.
Toxic, which carries the tagline “A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups,” is set to hit theaters on April 10, 2025.
