Tottenham Hotspur are yet to find a new head coach, with their most recent links to Arne Slot squashed after he signed a new contract with Feyenoord. There was a release clause in his contract worth £5 million valid from 2024. But that has been removed now that he has signed a new deal until 2026.
Roberto De Zerbi of Brighton has been linked with a move to London, on the back of a very successful season which saw him guide the team to Europe for the first time.
Roberto De Zerbi not willing to move to Tottenham Hotspur this summer
The Italian is one of the most impressive managers in the Premier League right now. In spite of taking over in the middle of the season, he has been able to lead the team remarkably well and have them play some of the most visually attractive football in the division as well.
And while there have been links, he remains focused on the project at hand at Brighton. De Zerbi will be managing them in the Europa League next season, which will be a big step up from the current situation that the team finds itself in.
But given their performance against the big teams in the league, they seem to be more than equipped to handle the pressure.
Tottenham Hotspur, on the other hand, are considering Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou, while Luis Enrique also remains an object.
