Tottenham Hotspur reportedly make the most matchday revenue of any club in the Premier League, with a return of £4.8 million per game at their grand stadium. Theirs is one of the best facilities in all of England, and they are now recouping the massive amount of money spent to move away from White Hart Lane all those years ago.

Across Europe, Spurs rank third overall for the most matchday revenue. At the top of the list are Barcelona, who earn £6.5 million per game. They are followed by French giants PSG, who boast of having a £5.6 million revenue per game.

These numbers take into account not only ticket sales but also broadcasting revenue that each club receives. Alongside it, money spent on merchandise at the stadium, food and drink as well as matchday programming is also considered.

In spite of their revenue share, Spurs haven’t been able to get their hands on a trophy in over a decade. They have regularly made it to the top four of the Premier League and to Cup finals, but have been unable to make it through the last mile.

Things took a turn for worse last season, as they missed out on Champions League football altogether. With things looking relatively better under Ange Postecoglou, they are in contention for the top four spots and could turn things around financially if they are able to.
