Opseth who can both play the role of attacking midfielder and central striker along with Deshorn was also retained for this season. However half of the season is already over but Opseth and also Deshorn both are still goal-less with not a very great performance. It’s a matter of some more time to see how the Norwegian performs.

Gary Hooper, who was signed by Kerala Blasters FC is one of the most expensive strikers in the ISL this season, who has played in competitions in Europe and Australia. However, his debut has not been that great as the former Celtic player has only managed to score two goals in nine matches. This poor performance of Hooper has led him back to the bench replacing Australian Jordan Murray.
