Manchester United have finally sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjær as the manager of the club after the humiliating 4-1 defeat to Watford. This has started a discussion about who will be the new Manchester United manager to replace Solskjær.

Michael Carrick has been entrusted to take charge of the first team while the board finds a new manager. And here are the top three picks for the job.

Zinedine Zidane

The former Real Madrid boss is currently out of a job and is being heavily rumoured to have a reunion with Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane at Old Trafford. The board are considering him as a realistic target to be the new Manchester United boss, but talks are still underway. After being mighty successful with Real Madrid, fans will be optimistic that he can do the same with the Red Devils.

Graham Potter

Brighton have turned into a top Premier League side under Graham Potter this season. They are currently in the top half of the table, and are playing very entertaining football with one touch passes and organised movement. The Englishman could be given a chance following the dismissal of Solskjær as the manager of the club. And he might just turn out to be a success at such a big club.

Brendan Rodgers

The Leicester City manager had verbally agreed to join Manchester United previously. But, he has denied claims of potentially moving to Old Trafford since he is currently very happy at the King Power Stadium. The former Liverpool boss has transformed the Foxes into top four competitors every season and could do a great job as the new Manchester United manager if he is given a chance.
