The first T20I was played in 2005 and since then, it has become an important format in International cricket. A total of 1455 T20Is have been played so far.

2. Australia

 In T20Is, Australia scored for 45,681 runs and reserved the second spot.

3. India

 India has played 153 T20I matches and piled up 45,813 runs in this format.

4. West indies

West Indies is one of the oldest teams in international Cricket playing 155 matches in the T20Is and mustered 44,414 total runs.

5. Pakistan

This team played 189 T20Is so far and scored 54,295 total runs in the shortest format.

6. New Zealand

New Zealand has played 160 T20I games and accounts for 47,242 runs.

7. South Africa

South Africa has played a total of 147 T20Is so far and scored 43,896 runs.

8. Sri Lanka

South Africa is at the 8th spot playing 147 T20Is so far and scored 43,896 total runs.

9. Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe piled up 28349 runs in 96 T20Is.

10. Bangladesh

The last to feature on the list is Bangladesh. In 123 T20I matches, they scored 32,838 runs.
