1. Dhoni Garuda Aerospace
MS Dhoni’s love for organic farming is known to the world through social media. Dhoni has invested an undisclosed sum in Chennai-based Garuda Aerospace which is India’s leading drone-as-a-service (DaaS) provider.
2. Sportswear & Footwear Brand Seven
MS Dhoni started his lifestyle brand Seven, the name inspired by his jersey number. He is a majority stakeholder in this wear brand. Apart from being the brand ambassador for the company, Dhoni owns the footwear business of the brand.
3. Football Team: Chennaiyin FC
Dhoni now owns a substantial stake in the football team in Indian Super League, Chennaiyin FC.
4. Gym Business: SportsFit WorldÂ
Dhoni’s love for fitness is known by the world. He converted his passion into a business and owns a chain of over 200 gyms across the country under the name of his company, SportsFit World Pvt. Ltd.
5. Mahi Residency – Hotel
Not many know about this, but Mahi owns a hotel in Ranchi Jharkhand, named Mahi Residency. This hotel doesn’t have a franchise yet.
6. 7InkBrews
The former Indian skipper is a shareholder in a Food and Beverages start-up, 7InkBrews. The company has a wide range of products starting from artisanal chocolates, and beverages earlier under the brand name Copter7. The name is an amalgamation of his very popular helicopter shot and his jersey number.
7. Khatabook
In 2021, MS Dhoni invested in a Bangalore-based startup Khatabook and is also the brand ambassador of this app. khatabook helps small businesses in India to manage their own accounts digitally. The best feature of the app is its reminder notification to the users via Whatsapp and SMS for collecting money and clearing dues.
8. Cars24
MS became a part of the e-commerce platform for pre-owned cars in 2019 by investing an undisclosed sum in its Series D round. Later, he also became its brand ambassador.
9. HomeLane
Dhoni is an equity partner and brand ambassador of the home interior company HomeLane since last August. The agreement was signed for three years, however, no other details were disclosed. This business was founded in 2014 and its USP is delivering home interiors in just 45 days. How cool is that?
10. Ranchi Rays
The Ranchi-based hockey team is also owned by Dhoni. Previously, it was owned by the Patel-Uniexcel Group. Ranchi Rays replaced Ranchi Rhinos in 2014.
