Three more engineers leave Apple's Car project for startups in another blow to the tech giant

For nearly a year, Apple‘s much-anticipated project for its fully autonomous car has been in the trend. The Apple Car is reportedly one of the most contingent projects for the company and it has witnessed major ups and downs.

Earlier, a few engineers working on the Car project left the company to join startups. Now, as per Bloomberg, three more engineers have reportedly left the company.

Eric Rogers, the one heading the car’s radar system has left the company to join the flying-taxi startup Jobi Aviation Inc. Alex Clarabut and Stephen Spiteri, two Apple engineers responsible for the project have also joined the same flying-taxi startup.

Reportedly, Apple’s upcoming Car project has been haunting the company’s engineers, and as more and more engineers leave the company the project is expected to witness a lot of uncertainties.

Although for a Californian Giant like Apple, it is swift to bring new employees, still seeing multiple people leave the company does display the coercion around the fully autonomous car project.

Nevertheless, Apple Car, internally called “Project Titan” will surely get a launch as it passes an array of pilots in its making. However, for the public, there is no information with respect to its specs. The Apple Car is expected to be announced by 2025.
