In the smartphone and tablet world, widgets are all around. No doubt, these make our job done with more effective way and save time too. Now, we can play with multiple widgets in Windows also. Yesterday Microsoft officially announces the next generation of Windows – Windows 11. Though there is time to get the experience for normal users, the company describes what are the offerings, improvements and all we will get.
One of the new features in Windows 11 is widgets. Prior to the launch event, it was expected it will be limited to Microsoft products only. But later, it seems the giant will open it to the other developers as well. So, all the users will have fun with all the widgets for sure.
Microsoft explains, “Today, we often pick up our phones to check the news, weather or notifications,” “Now, you can open a similarly curated view directly from your desktop.” – it added.
“When you open your personalized feed it slides across your screen like a sheet of glass so it doesn’t disrupt what you’re doing. For creators and publishers, Widgets also opens new real estate within Windows to deliver personalized content. Our aspiration is to create a vibrant pipeline for global brands and local creators alike, in a way that both consumers and creators can benefit.”
