Week 3 brought in just Rs 3.50 crore, of which Rs 2.50 crore came from the weekend alone. That is roughly a 70% drop from week 2.

What Went Wrong After the Strong Start?

The first week suggested real promise. Pinkvilla’s analysis says the film looked headed for at least Rs 75-80 crore in its full run, which would have ended Sidharth Malhotra’s wait for a clean hit. Then week 2 arrived, along with Drishyam: The Conclusion, and the numbers fell sharply. The report’s conclusion is blunt: a better release plan would have helped.

In other words, the film wasn’t necessarily rejected by audiences. It was squeezed out of screens and attention by a much larger release.

What Happens Next?

The film is in its final phase, and further drops are expected from the fourth weekend as new releases arrive. Pinkvilla expects it to close its entire run at around Rs 65-67 crore net, only slightly above where it stands today.

The Vvaan: Force Of The Forest is a mythological-fantasy drama directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, known for Panchayat.
