The company’s newest mid-range 5G smartphone in the Y series, the Vivo Y53t, has been introduced by Vivo as the replacement for the Y52t from a year ago. This has comparable specifications to the Y35, released last month and referred to as the Y35m in certain places.

The device has a 6.51-inch HD+ display, runs Android 13 with OriginOS Ocean on top, is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 700 SoC with compatibility for 5G SA/NSA, and has up to 6GB of RAM. It has 4GB / 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB / 256GB (UFS 2.2) storage which supports Android 13 with OriginOS Ocean.
It has two back cameras, one with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and the other with a 2-megapixel macro sensor with a 5-megapixel front camera. It sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 5000mAh battery, and 15W charging compatibility.

The Vivo Y53t is available in orange and midnight black, and it costs 999 yuan (about US$ 144 or Rs. 11,980) for 4GB + 128GB and 1099 yuan (roughly US$ 159 or Rs. 13,180) for 6GB+128GB. Beginning on January 9th, it will be accessible in China. According to the description, a variant with 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage will also be offered.
