Actress Kajol unveils the motion poster of her spicy political drama series ‘The Trial: Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha’ on Friday evening. She posted this just after few hours after her enigmatic post that follows facing a tough trail. Kajol declared that she might be taking a break from social media. The most shocking information was shared on both her Instagram and Twitter accounts. The actress has even deleted all her posts on Instagram. 

The Trial is mainly the official Hindi adaptation of the famous American legal and political drama The Good Wife. In the Bollywood version, we have seen Julianna Margulies in the lead role. The story of the Bollywood legal drama The Good Wife revolves around a woman who returns to her profession as a lawyer after her husband gets arrested in a scandal that lands him in jail. 

The Trial

The actress comes to her social media accounts and shared the motion poster of the series and wrote, “The tougher the trial, the harder you come back! Catch the trailer for my courtroom drama #HotstarSpecials #TheTrial – Pyaar Kanoon Dhokha on June 12th. Coming soon only on @DisneyPlusHS.” Soon after the announcement of the series, Kajol’s earlier social media posts were restored on her Instagram account. This post has raised a huge curiosity among all of the fans. The post stated, “Facing the toughest trial of my life’.

The Salaam Venky actress has found netizens’ attention after this post become viral. “The toughest trial of my life” that Kajol wrote about in her post, is indicating the plot of her upcoming show.  The actress has expressed her excitement about this new journey, Kajol states, “I have been playing multiple characters throughout my acting journey, but the firsts are always special.

The beauty of OTT platforms is that they give creators and actors an opportunity to reinvent and experiment with different formats, and with Disney+ Hotstar’s The Good Wife, that’s exactly what I got! As a career first move, I will be playing a lawyer in my first ever series.”

The Trial: Pyaar, Kaanoon, Dhokha Cast 

In this show, Kajol will be collaborated by Gaurav Banerjee, Deepak Sharma, Jisshu Sen Gupta, Sheeba Chaddha, Kubbra Sait, Suparn Verma, and Gaurav Pandey at the event. The series has been directed by is directed by Suparn S Varma, who is also the showrunner for the series.

The series will hit on Disney Plus Hotstar special on June 12, 2023.
