Barcelona and Bayern Munich met in the Champions League quarter-final tie. It was a one-legged affair instead of the regular two-legged tie due to the new rules for the Coronavirus pandemic.

It was expected to be a close tie. Lewandowski’s Bayern Munich were favourites but Messi was believed to carry Barcelona over the line.

After such a humiliating defeat, Barcelona players have called for major changes at the club as they are clearly heading in the wrong direction. It was a shameful night for the Blaugranas.
