In the list of games inspired by novel inspired, now there’s one more The Night Wanderer. We have a quite many video games adapted from novel series, and sometime movies adapted from games.
Now, this time we are talking about a new game inspired from The Night Wanderer novel book series. It looks like this one is inspired from The Witcher, and looking for a successful book – to – game adaption.

The Night Wanderer: New Polish Novel Based Game
Recently game developer studio, Mighty Koi Studio has announced a new game, The Night Wanderer. It is a new sci – fi or fantasy soulslike game with some RPG element based on the Polish novel series.
The name of this best – seller book series is “Lord of the Ice Garden” and its written by Jaroslaw Grzedowicz. As we all know that the game development studio which was been established recently in 2022 is also working on the recently announced Thorgal.
It describes its new game, The Night Wanderer as below,
“Players will take on the role of Vuko Drakkainen, a mercenary sent to the mysterious planet Midgaard to find a lost scientific expedition. The storyline combines science fiction with traditional fantasy. The gameplay will feature a compelling protagonist, an engaging story, and a vivid, extraordinary world shaped by mysterius forces.”
So, as we can see there are already so many “mysterious” elements in the official description of the game. However, till now we don’t know whether these mysterious are really mysterious or not.
We can only decide after getting our hands on the The Night Wanderer, which we don’t when will come. The studio has just announced the game, not its release window or something else.
However, we can take a hint from the novel book series as the game is based on that. Even the main character of the novel, Drakkainen is adopted in the game. But then again we don’t know to what extent the game is based on the novel.
Maybe it has just taken the characters or theme from it and developed a different storyline. The same is about the gameplay, and other features.
Now turning our attention towards the release date, we have already mentioned that the studio is just established. And it is working on another project apart from the The Night Wanderer. So, it means that it will take quite some time before we will see the game getting launched.
