The emerging smartphone manufacturer Tecno has been rumored for making a pocket-friendly mid-range device like the Redmi. Today, Tecno has finally launched two budget-friendly smartphones- Infinix Note 8 and Note 8i, and both the smartphones are powered by Media Tek Helio G80 chipset.

Let’s check out all the specifications of these two smartphones serially.

Infinix Note 8

The Infinix Note 8 sports a 6.95-inches LCD touchscreen and (720×1640) pixels of screen resolutions. The display of this phone also features a 20.5:9 aspect ratio and 480 nits of peak brightness. In terms of dimensions, this phone measures (175.3×78.76×8.95)mm. The phone also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

This phone packs with a quad rear camera, which includes- 64 megapixels of the main snapper with an auto-focus lens, alongside a 2 megapixels of Micro camera, 2 megapixels of the depth sensor, and another 2 megapixels of ‘AI lens’ which feels like it’s there just to fill the space. All of this is topped with a quad-LED flash.

On the front side, the phone features a dual selfie camera. There is a hole-punch cutout at the left corner on the display to hold the dual selfie camera, including 16 megapixels of main snapper and a depth sensor next to it.

The phone is powered by Media Tek Helio G80 Chipset and runs on Android 10 with XOS 7.1 on top. The SoC of this phone is equipped with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. But users can expand the internal storage capacity through a MicroSD card. The Note 8 also houses with a decent battery backup of 5,200mAh that charges at 18W of charging speed.

The Infinix Note 8 has Dual-SIM(Nano) slots and supports 4G LTE connectivity. Other connectivity options include- Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, USB Type-C port for charging, and a 3.5 mm earphone jack.

Regarding the pricing and availability, the price of this phone is yet to be revealed, but it is expected that this phone will have a price tag of $200(roughly Rs. 14,700). The Infinix Note 8 comes with three color options- Gray, Blue, and Green.

Infinix Note 8i

Infinix Note 8i ai all most similar with the Note 8. The Note 8i sports a 6.78-inches LCD display with the same pixels resolutions and aspect ratio. This phone measures (171.4×77.7×8.9)mm. The phone also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Now enlighten the camera part. The Infinix Note 8i packs a quad rear camera setup including 48MP main shooter, the other camera sensors are same as the Note 8 phone. But Note 8i features a single 8MP front camera.

Without these above specifications, everything else to be identical between the Note 8 and Note 8i. But there is no news about the pricing of Note 8i. But this phone comes with three colour options- Ice Diamond, Obsidian Black, and Tranquil Blue.
