The latest MG Hector will be available in five configurations, with seating for five, six, or seven people, and with both gasoline and diesel engines. The Hector would be MG Motor India’s first-ever product in the Indian markets, which is currently experiencing declining sales, according to the company’s sales figures.

A new and significantly modified Hector SUV was just unveiled on 11 Jan at the 2023 Auto Expo in an effort to increase sales and combat the new competition. It will be available for purchase alongside the present Hector.
The standard 5 seater Style variation of the new-generation MG Hector 5 seater costs ₹14.72 lakhs, while the top-of-the-line Savvy trim costs ₹21.72 lakhs. While the MG Hector Plus 7 seater is sold in a price range of ₹19.75 lakhs to ₹22.42 lakhs, its 6 seater price ranges from ₹20.14 to ₹22.42 lakhs.
The 2023 Hector is being offered by MG Motor with a unique package named “MG SHIELD.” The basic 5+5+5 package, which comes with a 5-year warranty and unlimited kilometer, 5-year roadside support, and 5 labor-free services, is also included. There are a total of 5 varieties of the new MG Hector available: Smart, Style, Smart Pro, Savvy Pro, and Sharp Pro. There are models available with 5, 6, and 7 seats as well as a variety of gasoline and diesel engines.
The next-generation Hector boasts amazing features, improved safety gear, and 75 connected car capabilities in all. It also has a diamond mesh grille that takes inspiration from the Argyle, LED headlamps and DRLs, and reworked tail lamps. Additionally, it has a sharply designed back bumper and a reprofiled front bumper.
There are many seating options in the cockpit, which is decorated in a dual-tone argil black and brown color theme with a wood finish. While the 7-seater model has bench seats in the second row, the 6-seater version has captain seats. A 35.56-inch HD entertainment system, a digital Bluetooth key featuring key-sharing capabilities, and i-SMART technology with over 75 linked car features are some of the most advanced features.
In addition, MG upgraded the safety features in the new Hector SUV with 11 ADAS elements in total, including traffic jam assist. When a motorist enters the lane from a parking lot or makes a U-turn, the vehicle has a clever auto turn indicator that enables the indicator light to turn off and on even though the driver forgets to set the indicator on.
A 1.5 liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with 140 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque is one of the petrol and diesel possibilities for the engine specifications. It is coupled to a six-speed manual with light hybrid technology and a CVT. A 2.0-liter diesel engine with a 6-speed manual transmission with 168 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque is also available.
