THE BOYZ’s Younghoon Just Leveled Up His Acting Career With a Star-Studded New Agency

Younghoon is stepping further into his acting era. On August 7, Namoo Actors announced that the THE BOYZ member had signed an exclusive contract, joining a roster stacked with some of Korea’s most respected screen talent.

What the Agency Said

Namoo Actors didn’t hold back on enthusiasm, calling Younghoon someone who “possesses unlimited potential” and promising full support so he can explore his acting talent freely. The agency also made a point of reassuring fans that his idol activities with THE BOYZ remain a priority, stating they’ll do their utmost to keep his connection with fans strong while backing this new chapter.

THE BOYZ: Overview

Why This Move Matters

Younghoon’s acting resume has been building steadily since his 2020 debut in the web drama Love Revolution, expanding into higher-profile projects like One the Woman and Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938. Joining Namoo Actors — home to heavyweights like Lee Joon-gi and Park Eun-bin — signals a serious push toward bigger acting roles, without stepping away from his idol career.

What’s Next

With Namoo Actors backing both his acting ambitions and his ongoing work with THE BOYZ, Younghoon looks positioned to balance both sides of his career more prominently going forward — a dual-track approach that’s become increasingly common among K-pop idols branching into film and television.
