THE BOYZ’s Q Signs With PEACHY Company, Jun Ji-hyun’s Newly Launched Acting Agency

Idol-to-actor transitions are nothing new in K-pop, but this one comes with serious star power behind it. THE BOYZ’s Q has officially signed an exclusive contract with PEACHY Company, the agency founded by none other than acting powerhouse Jun Ji-hyun.

A New Chapter for Q’s Acting Career

On September 4, PEACHY Company confirmed the news directly, stating they plan to fully support Q’s activities as an actor going forward. It’s a significant vote of confidence for the idol-turned-actor, who debuted with THE BOYZ back in 2017 and has only recently begun carving out a serious acting path.

Earlier this year, Q landed his first leading role in the drama “My Idol, My Debut,” and he’s now gearing up for another major project — the upcoming film “Akgu: The Secret of the Moon Shadow.”

The Agency Behind the Move

PEACHY Company was established just last year by Jun Ji-hyun, one of Korean entertainment’s most respected and decorated actresses, known for era-defining roles in films and dramas that helped shape the modern Hallyu wave. The agency already houses fellow star Kim So Hyun, making Q the newest addition to a small but heavyweight roster.

Why This Signing Matters

Joining an agency built and led by an actress of Jun Ji-hyun’s caliber signals real intent behind Q’s acting ambitions. Boutique agencies founded by established stars tend to offer close mentorship and carefully curated project选择 — a strong indicator that Q’s transition from idol to actor is being treated as a long-term career move rather than a side venture.

With a leading drama role already under his belt and a new film on the way, this agency change could be the next big step in establishing Q as a serious name in Korean acting circles.
