What’s the Final Season About?
Homelander now dominates the United States, with the Boys scattered and outgunned. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a chilling “Freedom Camp,” while Annie fights to hold a resistance together. The biggest game-changer is Butcher, who reappears with one deadly goal — deploying a virus designed to wipe every Supe off the map.
Showrunner Eric Kripke has made no secret of the stakes: expect major character deaths, no guaranteed survivors, and a finale that one cast member called “extremely satisfying.”

New & Returning Cast Highlights
Season 5 features a Supernatural reunion like no other — Jensen Ackles (Soldier Boy), Jared Padalecki, and Misha Collins all appear alongside Jeffrey Dean Morgan, reuniting the iconic TV family in the most violent way possible. Daveed Diggs (Hamilton, Snowpiercer) also joins in an undisclosed role.
The full returning ensemble includes Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Karen Fukuhara, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, and Tomer Capone — everyone you love, likely heading into danger.
