Asus launched its the World’s First Laptop with AMD Advantage Badge: ASUS ROG Strix G15 and the ROG Strix G17 laptops some time ago. Finally, they are on sale in China with ROG Moba 5R and ROG Moba 5R Plus, respectively and sporting an all-AMD combo of Ryzen 9 5900HX and the new Radeon RX 6800M.
These laptops are equipped with dual liquid gold thermal conductivity and are already on sale in China. The ROG Moba 5R Plus or the Asus ROG Strix G17 Advantage Edition comes with a listing price of 14,999 yuan, a starting price of 13,999 yuan or US$2,160 or Rs. 1,61,514.
Even though the name has been different, the rest of the specs remain the same, paired with up to 16GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and 1TB of fast NVMe SSD.Â
The CPU and GPU are covered with liquid metal, which can reduce temperature to 14 degrees Celsius. The vapour chamber of the laptop cooling mechanism is equipped with 25W of thermal headroom than the normal Strix laptops.
 The latest Asus ROG Strix G17 Advantage Edition has shipped with a colossal 17.3-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) IPS panel with 165Hz clock time. It is covered with a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. It is also available with an FHD configuration.
It has a refresh rate of 300Hz, covers a 100% DCI-P3 colour spectrum, and comes with FreeSync Premium tear-proof and low frame Rate compensation technology. In terms of audio, you have 5.1 virtual surround sound through dual smart AMP speakers that support Dolby Atmos.
For connectivity, you have both Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0; for ports, you have three USB Gen 3.2 Type-A ports, one USB Gen 3.2 Type-C port the can display video and power the notebook up to 100W, and HDMI 2.0b port.
It has an RJ-45 Ethernet jack, and one also has a 3.5mm combo audio jack, the laptop has a 90Wh battery that can power the Asus ROG Strix G17 Advantage Edition. So, this Asus ROG Moba 5R Plus in China will be up for sale on July 20 with a starting price of 13,999 yuan.
