Thaai Kizhavi added ₹2 crore in its fifth week, registering roughly a 60 per cent drop from the previous week. Currently standing at ₹63.50 crore gross, the film is expected to close its full theatrical journey at approximately ₹64 crore, with its digital debut set for April 10 leaving little room for further theatrical earnings.

The film earned the clean Hit verdict at the box office — a meaningful achievement for a content-driven production built on a veteran actress rather than a conventional mass hero formula.

The film performed best in its home market of Tamil Nadu, contributing ₹57.50 crore of the total gross, with the rest of India adding around ₹6 crore, led largely by Karnataka’s ₹4.25 crore contribution.
