A Partnership That Keeps Delivering
This is not a gamble — it’s a proven formula. Venkatesh and Anil Ravipudi have built one of the most consistent director-actor partnerships in contemporary Telugu cinema, delivering crowd-pleasing entertainers across five projects together. Their four previous collaborations have all resulted in box office success.
Their most recent outing, Sankranthiki Vasthunam, was a full-on Sankranthi entertainer. The action-comedy follows YD Raju, a former IPS officer living a quiet life in a village, whose ex-girlfriend — now an investigating officer — seeks his help on a high-profile kidnapping case. When his wife grows suspicious, she joins them, triggering a chain reaction of chaos and comedy. IMDb The film starred Aishwarya Rajesh and Meenakshi Chaudhary as co-leads and is currently available for streaming on ZEE5.
Nandamuri Kalyan Ram Returns to Ravipudi’s World
The upcoming project also marks director Anil Ravipudi’s second collaboration with actor-producer Nandamuri Kalyan Ram — the duo previously worked together on Ravipudi’s directorial debut Pataas (2015). IMDb Having Kalyan Ram alongside Venkatesh gives this project a generational star power combination that Tollywood fans are already buzzing about.
