Tecno seems set to introduce its Pova 6 series further in the Indian market with another addition, which is believed to be called the Tecno Pova 6 Neo 5G. A leak by tipster Mukul Sharma suggests a possible launch of this new device soon on X (via Twitter) after Tecnobrought the lower-end version – dubbed Pova 6 Neo4G globally as well. The Tipsters claim that alongside other advanced AI features like AskAI, AIGC Portrait, AI Cutout, and AI Magic Eraser. While the original post has now been taken down, this leak only stokes speculation of an imminent Tecno announcement.
The Upcoming Tecno Pova 6 Neo 5G
The Pova 6 Neo 5G is set to build upon the foundation laid by its 4G counterpart, which was introduced globally in April. The upcoming smartphone is expected to feature a large 6.78-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a punch-hole notch and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and an immersive viewing experience. Under the hood, it is likely to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate Octa-core processor, built on 6nm technology, delivering a clock speed of 2.2 GHz for efficient performance.
The device is anticipated to offer 8GB of RAM, complemented by 8GB of virtual RAM, effectively providing 16GB of memory for seamless multitasking. Storage options are likely 128GB and 256 GB inbuilt memory to suit varying customer requirements.
In terms of cameras, the Pova 6 Neo 5G might come with a dual rear camera system and it is expected to be highlighted by a 50 MP primary sensor accompanied by an AI lens. An 8-megapixel front camera is likely to be used for selfies and video calls. The Pova 6 Neo also includes the likes of a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers, and side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well as support for both 5GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth versions to make the entire package more compelling in competitive mid-range smartphone space.
