Tecno also shared a teaser of the phone on social media, which lists its camera capabilities. The device will feature a 108MP primary sensor with 3x zoom, complemented by a triple-camera setup. But no details have been given about the other sensors. Other highlights here include a 120Hz display and Dynamic Port 2.0, a customizable notification interface.

Moreover, the phone will also support 33W fast charging. The Pova 6 5G will be powered by 8GB of RAM, expandable virtually up to another extra 8GB and 256GB of internal storage. The device will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery, as per FCC listings. Recent certifications have also confirmed that NFC, which is rare in budget smartphones, will be included. It will come with Android 14, according to its Google Play Console entry.

Tecno hasn’t confirmed the processor yet, but word is it will use a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. The core specifications and design elements are strikingly similar to the Spark 20 Pro 5G, leading to speculation that the Pova 6 5G could be a rebranded model tailored for specific markets. Tecno is offering the phone in Black and White color options, however, the smartphone’s price and launch date are still not known.

The device’s competitiveness will largely depend on its pricing, with expectations that it will be positioned similarly to its predecessor, the Pova 5 Pro 5G, which launched for under $250. Tecno, on the other hand, has teased a Pova series smartphone — reportedly the Pova 7 — with a triangular camera module with LED lighting, and a boxy frame with rounded edges. Details regarding its specifications remain under wraps, but the device may offer a triple-camera system.
