The TCL 40R 5G, a 5G midrange featuring a 50MP main camera and a 5,000 mAh battery, is a new low-cost handset from TCL available in Europe.
The front of the device features an HD+ 6.6-inch IPS LCD with a waterdrop notch for the 8MP front camera. The 50MP main camera, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth lenses are all located on the rear.
4GB RAM and 64/128GB of expandable storage space are added to MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 processor. TCL UI 4.0 on top of Android 12 handles the software side.

Along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, the phone has a 5,000 mAh battery and 15W charging capabilities. The Stardust Purple and Starlight Black TCL 40 5G are available. In Europe, the price is set at €240.
