The Tata Nexon facelift is one of Tata Motors’ most anticipated new vehicles, with a spate of launches planned over the coming few months. The Tata Nexon facelift is set to debut in September 2023, and we now have new information on its trim lineup as well as a few critical features.

According to sources, the Tata Nexon facelift will be available in more than ten trims, and Tata Motors will abandon the present trim nomenclature (XE, XM, XM+, XZ+, and XZ+ Lux) in favour of names akin to the Punch line-up, which includes trims like Pure and Creative.

The Tata Nexon makeover will be available with only the core trims at launch, but special editions such as the Dark Edition and Jet Edition will be added later, most likely in stages, and will continue to be based solely on top-spec trims. Such limited edition versions are quite popular in Tata’s lineup, particularly for its SUVs, frequently accounting for up to 15% of total sales for each model.

The Tata Nexon has topped the subcompact SUV sales rankings for several months now, but in terms of features, it falls short of the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and even the Maruti Brezza.

Spy images have already revealed a new 10.25-inch touchscreen, a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and an all-new two-spoke steering wheel with a backlit Tata emblem from the upgraded Harrier and Safari. It will also incorporate sequential turn indicators, a 360-degree camera with HD display, and front parking sensors, according to new information.

Six airbags are also standard on all trims, as are LED headlights with LED DRLs and multi-drive modes. Tata’s new revolutionary touch-based HVAC control panel, wireless charger, leatherette upholstery, ventilated seats, and a new LED DRL welcome signature will be standard on higher trims. As with the current Tata Nexon, a single-pane sunroof will be available starting with the base trim.
